Their innate curiosity and unique behaviour make them naturally captivating. Despite their clumsy mobility on land, their wings serve as fins in the water, enabling them to move gracefully. They reach diving depths of more than 600 feet and speeds of 22 miles per hour, outpacing any other diving bird. When hunting for small fish, krill, and squid, they can plunge to depths of up to 200 m (650 ft) and remain underwater for up to seven minutes.
